Quick answer: To calculate heavy vehicle L/100 km, divide fuel used by kilometers driven and multiply by 100. km/L is kilometers divided by liters or equivalent fuel units. Loaded semi-trucks often use about 30 to 40 L/100 km in real operation.

How is this calculated?

L/100 km = (liters used / kilometers driven) * 100
km/L = kilometers driven / liters used
Adjusted consumption = measured or spec consumption * (1 + adjustment %)
CNG support uses kilograms as the entered fuel unit

Example: a loaded truck that uses 330 liters over 900 km consumes 36.67 L/100 km and returns 2.73 km/L. With a 15% real-world adjustment, plan for 42.17 L/100 km.
